Club Reports: Allure Lounge, Sessions, Noir Lounge, Club Revel

Our mission last night was to only visit new or newer nightclubs in the Orlando market. We began the evening on West Pine Street for the grand opening of Allure Lounge.

Very upscale, we witnessed Security saying "no" to several people arriving in grungy jeans or ratty tops.

Arriving on the ground level, this vast seating area is to your right.

To your left, this bi-level area has seating upstairs and the club's lone bar downstairs.

The DJ booth is also upstairs where we found DJ Getfreeliving (USA).

The music a mix of ambient House, Soul, R&B and Light Hip Hop during our visit.

We had missed an earlier floor show from some drummers from Congo but did get to see these Ladies dancing in brightly colored gowns. This space becomes the club's dance floor later in the evening when the music gets cranked-up.

The place has been beautifully redone from its most-recent use in 2022 as Violet Rose, a club trying to bring live bands downtown. It lasted mere months. But most people probably know the place fondly from its days as dance club Blue Room. Unfortunately, the building has been a bad luck location since Blue Room with the list of failures here including Club Ice, Liquid, Zen Exotic Lounge, Deja Vu Ultralounge and Voyage. Come check them out!

Moving to East Pine Street, we next visited Sessions. It's not brand new but opened last November in the spot that was former home of The Crow and Ghost Bar prior to that.

It's been beautifully redone as well but at 10PM last night, upstairs was closed and no one was in the downstairs seating area.

The beautiful bar area was a bit more active.

In the booth we found DJ Mighty Shari (USA).

The music a great mix of Classic Disco and Nu Disco.

Sessions has numerous shiny disco balls so you know the place is legit. But more people need to discover the place.

Spotted on the dance floor: DJ Ethan McCain (USA) flanked by Lynne & Mari.

We made a quick stop to our beloved Suite B Lounge location that most-recently was home to Arena Art Bar. We knew it was under renovations and the signs on the glass say Noir Lounge was coming soon. No opening date indicated.

Heading up next to north suburban Sanford where Capital Room Bar becomes, every Friday night, new Club Revel.

The venue has two large rooms with their bar in the front room and we walked into this.

And in the back room, this!

The 11PM set from DJ Gerry LaBarge (USA) was still in progress.

The music mostly Breaks.

Dance floor was jammed!

DJ had the club bouncing.

At midnight, the Revel grand opening night headliner came on next.....

Chicago-based DJ Keith MacKenzie (USA).

It got even more crowded.

It became hard to move about the place.

We ran into so many peeps we know last night!

Spotted with Keith MacKenzie and Dolly, DJ Johnny Park (USA) had opened the show hours earlier.

At 1AM, DJ KJ (USA) of K5 fame was up next.

Taking turns with DJ Joe Cox (USA).

Together they are duo Akai Seven (USA). They migrated away from Breaks to more of a House/Tech House sound.

You know you're in the right club when you see Dorsey on the dance floor getting down.

Around 1:30AM and no one was leaving just yet!

A good time was had by all.
