| Amazingly, 15-years ago this week in June, 2009, the announcement that Pleasure Island clubs would be closing in three months time happened. Dwayne Bevil of the Orlando Sentinel posted a column telling readers about all the changes that happened in Downtown Disney during that year. Sadly, the Sentinel's link to that article no longer works. But we've posted the main portion of it above including the columnist's final words regarding those changes: "All of them could have happened without closing the nightclubs!" |
