DTD Update: Cheap Eats

The McDonald's in Downtown Disney was the cheapest place to eat in the shopping complex, even if prices were higher than their restaurant one mile away in the Crossroads. But McDonald's was replaced by a Pollo Campero restaurant in 2010, a Guatemala-based fast food chain. (It also contained Bodie's Hamburger and Fresh Appeal counters.) Pollo Campero was likely still the cheapest place to get a full meal in Downtown Disney but it was demolished as part of the conversion over to Disney Springs. There are only two remaining Pollo Campero restaurants in Florida; one in Miami and one in Boynton Beach.
