Club Reports: Aero, The Patio, Jungle Room, Celine, Vinyl Arts Bar

After a couple weeks of laying around on a cruise ship, it was great to be back in downtown Orlando! Began Friday night at Aero.

With DJ duo Cliff T (USA) & Robin (USA).

A chilly but comfortable night and just a few on the dance floor when I arrived.

But things would steadily pick up as people streamed in.

Being a rooftop bar, you're literally dancing with the stars at Aero!

The music all Electro House / EDM.

You can never go wrong with Go Go girls!

They will soon be announcing a new Thursday night format that we were excited to hear about but  also sworn to secrecy for the moment!

Down below Aero is The Patio, where they claim that "there's always a party." The Blog is required to verify this quarterly.  But rather than wait for the third month of the quarter to do so, we showed up unexpectedly last night just to catch them off-guard!

I thought for sure that things would be slow given the chilly temps.

But it was actually crowded.

And it got even more crowded!

Foiled again.  There really is always a party at The Patio!

Located aft inside The Patio, there is another club called Jungle Room.

DJ Rock Johnson (USA) runs the show back here!

Because the format is 100% Hip Hop, we don't often venture back here.

And it's tiny and it's packed!

OK, now on to Celine Orlando.

Arriving late, headliner DJ J. Phlip (USA) was already on.

First time seeing her live.

Really young crowd on-hand but the peeps want House music!

Free admission always brings out the crowd too.

Dance floor was jammed!

J. Phlip is originally from Champaign-Urbana, home of my alma mater, the University of Illinois!

She's now part of the Dirtybird movement!

House music all night long!

New sign in front of Vinyl Arts Bar as they've been doing some serious renovations to the place.

Arrived to find DJ duo Jose M. & Tacoman (CO) in the booth.

But just a few on the new dance floor.

The room that previously served as their package beer store has been opened-up and flows right onto the main room dance floor.

And the back rooms flow through the bar area as well.

Spotted on the dance floor: DJ's Castillo and Fobia (both USA); they had played earlier.

Spotted at the bar: First time seeing DJ Carlos Mendoza (USA) since he headlined at Electric Daisy Carnival - Orlando back in November. Link.

 House music all night long.

A string of great songs brought everyone onto the floor! Should be really crowded tonight as VAB celebrates their 3rd Anniversary with DJ Saeed Younan (IRQ/USA).

 Everywhere I went last night, a good time was had by all.
