With Halloween on a Wednesday this year, last night was the de facto night to get in costume and go crazy in downtown Orlando!
Heavy police presence had Orange Avenue and some of the side streets blocked off from traffic which made it easy to walk around and see the sights.
The ratio of costumes to no costumes was about 50:50.
There was plenty of nice scenery!
With some taking things seriously!
Rather than my usual club hopping though, I decided to stay put in my Saturday night favorite, Independent Bar.
Just as it should be, DJ Indie John (USA) in the booth.
The dance floor was already jammed at 11PM.
By midnight it looked like this!
Spotted in the booth: Dana with DJ's The Reverend, Parry, Indie John & Kimball Collins.
Spotted in VIP: Pimp Daddy and Pocahantas
Spotted by the bar: DJ Smilin' Dan (USA) and Kimberly
The music mostly 80's New Wave.
Mixed in with some Halloween classics like "Monster Mash", "Thriller" and "Time Warp".
Lots of clever costumes!
Everywhere downtown last night, a good time was had by all!
