Club Report: Señor Frog’s (Nassau)

With 4 mega cruise ships in port yesterday in Nassau, there were 12,000 extra people wandering around the city with some of them looking to party!  Places like Señor Frog’s on the harbourfront downtown meet that need well!
DJ Sean was in the booth delivering party hits while Kim visited!
Bahamas drinking age of 18 means many youngsters legally doing what they can't do back home.
In case you didn't know, the chain has a branch on International Drive in Orlando too.  Gotta love Señor Frog’s!!
Nassau has a lot of other bar options too overlooking the harbour such as Lukka Kairi.
Sharkeez has been around quite awhile now!
This branch of Fat Tuesday is new since my last visit to New Providence Island.
While the more-hidden Bearded Clam has found its own niche.
Nassau has many traditional dance clubs such as LifeStylez Bar & Lounge but with night hours, they serve locals and hotel guests but not the cruise ship passengers who are generally gone by early evening. Space Nightclub on Bay Street seems to have disappeared and I saw no mention of long-operating Club Waterloo. Over at Atlantis on Paradise Island, the 9000sf Aura Nightclub remains the only international class venue but entry does not come cheaply.
My view yesterday from Señor Frog’s. Right to left, my ship Carnival Liberty, MSC Divina, Norwegian Escape & Royal Caribbean's Anthem of the Seas.

  1. Hands down - I was the drunkest I have ever been in my life from Senor Frogs in Nassau. After 3 half yard long islands, we did ski shots of goldschlager. I still can't let that stuff touch my lips! But hey, I won the dance contest(and free shots for my side of the bar!)

  3. you have no idea. My mom was with us on that cruise. She goes to the shop and comes back and I'm on the table dancing for free shots! It was all beautifully captured on video by my adoring husband of course - including my mom's reaction when she came out of the shop!

I got him back at Margaritaville in Jamaica though! Suffice to say, there are never a shortage of stories when cruises are involved!

  4. Yup, cruises are (nearly) always great times and forced relaxation!
