The Blog had been posting since at least 2014 of the existence of a project called The Tunnels. Later in September, 2015, writer Scott Joseph and his Orlando Restaurant Guide published the name "Neverland Tunnels". But since then, nothing. Yes, something is being constructed down there, but what? |
Could they just be installing some restrooms down there?
ReplyDeleteMy guess is just boring office / cast member / back stage type locations.
ReplyDeleteRumor around the Springs is a "rum bar." Have also heard hidden doors. Could "Neverland" be codeword for a pirate theme? If so, expect it to be a huge hit.
ReplyDeleteAnon, yes, there are likely to be restrooms down there.
ReplyDeleteBob, I'm pretty sure it's more than just offices. Disney Springs offices were built out in the parking lot behind Cirque.
71, had not heard "rum bar", just "bar". Original word was that access would be via hidden doors in The Edison or whatever is going next to The Edison. But if you look in the first picture I posted, it seems like there will (also) be an entrance at the foot of the No. 4 Bridge near the stairs that go up to STK. The title "Neverland Tunnels" is a reference to Peter Pan, of course, and "lost boys" & "pirates". Yes, would be a huge hit if that's what it is.
Tortogia.
ReplyDeleteTortogia? Is that a hint?
ReplyDeleteRumours have it that they may he building a speakeasy-themed bar.
