Mannequins Mathmatics

The math was quite simple at Mannequins.
Take a whole lot of electronic music.
Add a whole lot of drinks.
And that equaled a whole lot of dancing on the revolving floor!  No place did it better!  No place does it better now!

  4. This is INEXCUSABLE. Certain Disney managers may have had the power to close Mannequins Dance a Palace but they have done so against the public's will. Yes, the board and share holders have not been negatively affected but the ill will of the people won't soon be forgotten. Again I will state that I was planning on purchasing DVC property membership but declined when Mannequins was closed so Disney has lost thousands of dollars from myself alone. I will not buy into DVC unless they open Mannequins or a comparable club; ie Disney ran with rotating dance floor, performers etc. Disney can continue to say they will not have any clubs but I'm already looking at an annual pass at Universal next year instead of Disney. And I can tell you that Disney parks are not nearly as crowded as they used to mid summer.

I will go to there parks AS I CAN get in FREE! but I will NOT spend any money! when inside any of the parks! NOTHING! EVEN if they REOPEN Mannequins or any club I will not return! because it will NEVER be the same!

  6. Disney doesn't seem to think that they need the "local" business now. If anything happens to the tourism industry (dropping economy, etc.) they need something at The Springs that will attract the locals (night clubs, entertainment.) More shopping, more restaurants isn't going to do it. Universal and City Walk are where I will be spending my money.
