Club Reports: Saddle Up, Suite B Lounge

You know Save Pleasure Island Blog is all about EDM but we couldn't miss out on reporting the opening of new downtown country bar Saddle Up.
DJ Zee (Zohler-Sobel Entertainment) in the booth playing.......American Country.
It's more of an upscale Country music venue; not a cowboy hat in the house!  Be careful not to slip on the straw.
Spotted: Real Florida cowgirls!

Cool mural on one of the club's walls.  Pleasure Island had two Country bars over the years, both of which closed. Neon Armadillo operated from 1989 to 1998 and was replaced by Wildhorse Saloon the same year it closed which operated until 2001. BET Soundstage would take over the NA space in 1998 while club Motion would take over the WS space.

OK, enough of that. Moving over to Suite B Lounge in search of Breakbeats!
Finding DJ Jdub (NLP) in the booth pumping out the beats!
And taking turns with the legendary DJ Rob-E.
Place packed, dance floor full!
Considering that it was a bit of a drizzly night, great turn-out for Bass Invasion!
Spotted: DJ LadyV (Earthdance, ElectricRun) visiting with Rob-E.
Spotted: DJ Security (Fundamental Breakz Collective, Future Sound of Breaks) along with DJ Social Menace (Rachel's, Social Menace Clothing).
Spotted: DJ Beni Hill (NLP) along with some members of the official Beni Hill Fan Club.
And a good time was had by all!

  3. Yeah Ray, I knew that paragraph was too wordy to make sense when I typed it!

Anon, Stagger Inn has been open a couple years now but is very cramp. But it's always crowded. I give Saddle Up good odds and they have a lot of money backing it.

SO more to the reason Saddler WILL FAIL! 2 counrty bars downtown! no matter how small! WILL FAIL! you want a bar like that to make it go to kissimmee fl or Sanford! to make it a go!

  8. In the club business every bar will either fail or change names eventually. So you're not going very far out on a limb, are you?
