Club Reports: Nassau, Bahamas

Spring Break is not far away and Nassau is a popular place to escape for a few days.  So having just visited Nassau on Saturday, the Blog is providing this list of nightlife options for New Providence and Paradise Islands.  Space Nightclub & Lounge is a new club that is located in downtown Nassau directly on Bay Street, an easy walk from both the cruise ship terminal or the British Colonial Hilton.  Open TU/TH/F/SA evenings.
Sharkeez is a souvenir shop downstairs and a restaurant/watering hole upstairs.  On Woodes Rogers Walk overlooking the harbour, it's a great daytime option for those in town on cruise ships!
Probably the most famous bar in town is Senor FrogsUnencumbered by American laws, anything goes at this branch of the famous chain.  Even though nearly all cruise ships sail away by 6pm, it's not unusual to find sloshed partiers in here during the day.
A fun, lively atmosphere can be found at any of the 3 locations of The Green Parrot Pub including this branch on East Bay Street overlooking Nassau Harbour and the bridges to Paradise Island.  It's both a restaurant and a beer drinking establishment and it's adjacent the cruise terminal.
For a real dance club experience you either need to be staying in a hotel or have arrived on one of the few cruise ships that overnight in Nassau; i.e. Carnival Imagination sailing from Miami does not sail until 7am.  Club Waterloo is Nassau's largest club and his been going at it for years now!  Find a Rock band in the front section called Shooters or head to the rear for DJ's featuring Hip Hop, Reggae, House & Top 40.  Located on East Bay Street, a taxi is required coming and going.

  1. Is the $100 cover even possibly worth it?

  2. There's the club the DCL crew goes to, I forget the name though.

Also I might or might not have been extremely trashed at Senor Frogs during the day.

  3. Rob, I doubt it. IMO, it's designed to keep out the locals.

Zule, this is not the confessional booth!
