PI Update: Bigger, Better Comedy Warehouse Returning For the Holidays!

Disney has confirmed what reader Shawn Tucker reported here on the Save Pleasure Island Blog a couple weeks ago:  Comedy Warehouse is returning to Disney Hollywood Studios for the holidays!  But this year it's going to be bigger and better than last year!  Bigger because it's moving from the relatively small ABC Sound Theater to the much larger Premier Theater.  Better because last year's shows took place over a one week period whereas this year performances will take place for two weeks; December 23rd - January 5th.  The "Comedy Warehouse Holiday Special" brings back many of the original cast members from Comedy Warehouse on beautiful Pleasure Island and it's family-friendly improv.  All the shows last year were "sold out".  So don't miss it this time!

  1. So wait is it really happening on Pleasure Island or Hollywood studios?

Be nice if its sold out shows every night then disney can rethink to keep it perm. Either way its a right direction.

  2. Clubmaster, the Premier Theater is at the Hollywood Studios off The Streets Of America. We will be going to every show that we can.

  3. DJ Ray if possible, Please bring a HD or a good quality video camera and Record un edited episodes of each show and post on youtube for our enjoyment. I normally get into disney for free because of my Cast member friends but its Blocked out so I refuse to pay normal price with the exception of NYE at Epcot. But I enjoy watching 20 minute videos of the show on youtube. Or if anyone could record it that would be great!!

  4. Way off topic here (well, technically holiday-related), but ClubMaster and KingBob, or anyone else, ... is EPCOT worth the hassle New Years Eve? In my decade plus down here, never done it, thinking of giving it a go this year. Any advice?

  5. 71, if you're going to do the rides than arrive very early and squeeze in as many as possible before it gets too crowded. Because by early afternoon you're looking at 2+ hour waits for each ride. Soarin' was over 3 hours!

If you're going for the music and you're into EDM, then it's great but you don't need to show-up until after dark. It's Top 40/Dance at China with DJ Dominick Morrison & House/Dance at Italy with DJ Mark Sanchez.
