The Downtown Disney Guidemap is updated throughout the year and the latest edition now reflects places to find musical entertainment. Pleasure Island of course dominates the DTD music scene with 4 musical notes representing 4 music locations: West End Plaza (formerly Celebration Plaza), Paradiso 37, the Raglan Road patio and the Lily Pad area. Downtown Disney West Side has 3 musical notes for House of Blues, Bongo's Cuban Cafe and Wetzels' Pretzels Plaza. Downtown Disney Marketplace only has 1 musical note for the Waterside Stage.
Interestingly, the Downtown Disney Guidemap now comes with an available Times Guide just the the theme park Guidemaps do. The insert lists that week's entertainment choices. For instance, it had for this week the schedule for the West End Plaza:
(Sunday) Mitch Corbin, Drey-C
(Monday) Mitch Corbin, Blonde Ambition
(Tuesday) Geraldo M Duo, La Calle Band
(Wednesday) Geraldo M Duo, Nova Pop
(Thursday) Geraldo M Duo, Drey-C
(Friday) Drey-C, Geraldo M Duo
(Saturday) Drey-C, Nicholas Marks
The Guidemap unfortunately makes no mention of all those empty buildings on the map.

ReplyDeleteIt's nice to see that they still have the guide map, now all Disney has to do is reopen the clubs, and put P.I. back on the map.
