Long line for drinks at Laffers Cantina last night. (No line at PI Live Bar though.) |
At Celebration Plaza in the West End Ultra Lounge, Nicholas Marks and his gypsy guitar were part of the evening's entertainment at the Green Stage. |
He alternated with band Nova Pop who was playing Top 40 songs on the Purple Stage. |
Decent-sized crowd in attendance to watch. |
Who says there's no dancing on Pleasure Island! |
Human statues still appear at the ultra lounge. |
Checking out the clubs, Adventurers Club remains hidden but not forgotten behind the strategically placed foliage! |
At Mannequins, the dancing neon lights flash quickly above the entryway! |
Click to enlarge this picture and you can see that the interior of 8TRAX is still being used for storage space as it is piled high with boxes. |
Finally, a quick visit over to Planet Hollywood which had a long line outside. |
Cant get excitement like that any where else.
ReplyDeletejust think what it WOULD be like the clubs where open?
ReplyDeleteDo the Disney Executives have no brains?
ReplyDeleteThe older gentleman in shorts and flashy shirt dancing with the two younger ladies use to be a regular patron of 8 Trax
ReplyDeleteYes, and he now hangs out a lot in Latin Quarter.
ReplyDeleteI have danced with the gentleman in the red shorts at the groove and Red Coconut Club! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd he owns the Ferrari dealership and is a bizzillionaire!
ReplyDeleteor so he "says".... if I was a bizzillionaire, the LAST place I'd hang out every damn night is Latin quarter or pleasure island.
ReplyDeleteWow, I've seen that guy in the Groove. Figured he was just a random dude, had no idea he was a well-know character.
ReplyDeleteNope, not a random dude. He was a PI person like the rest of us who migrated over to CityWalk. First time I'd seen him though back on Pleasure Island. And yes, he does own that car dealership.
ReplyDeleteHis name is Eddie..don't ask me how I know that. Lol!
ReplyDeleteMad Man, we can only speculate!
