Very sad news today as the
Orlando Sentinel reports that Mark Wayne of the singing duo of
Mark & Lorna passed away today from an apparent heart attack. Singing at the
Red Fox Lounge in the
Best Western Mount Vernon Inn in Winter Park, the duo was locally-famous because their kitchy lounge act had been in existence since the 1970's in the very same spot! The small hotel lounge would get jammed on weekend nights with everyone from Rollins College coeds to retirees. The Blog last covered the act
