PI Update: 8TRAX Fans Reunion Coming Too!

Fans of the former Pleasure Island club 8TRAX will be happy to hear that there's going to be an 8TRAX Fans Reunion on two nights, Friday, February 24 and Saturday, February 25 at the new club Retro Room on US 192. Mark your calendar and stay tuned to the Blog for full details!  Former 8TRAX DJ Pete will be spinning 70's Disco & 80's Classics, just like you remember them at PI. **UNOFFICIAL EVENT**  RETRO ROOM AND SAVE PLEASURE ISLAND BLOG ARE NOT AFFILIATED WITH THE WALT DISNEY COMPANY.  8TRAX IS A TRADEMARK OF THE WALT DISNEY COMPANY AND IS USED HERE TO PUBLICIZE AN EVENT FOR FANS OF THE FORMER NIGHT CLUB.

    Hopefully there will be a good turnout for the reunion, but I hope they will fix up 8Trax at PI,
    so everyone can party there.
    P.S. It's been three years please let's all smell the coffee.

    The masses loved 8Trax!, Campy, sing a long theme that kept me there until the last song everytime!

    I think having this at retro room will not make disney reopen 8TRAX just make 8TRAX fans go to retro room!!! more!! but this is my opinion!!

    Anon, it doesn't look like Disney is reopening anything, at least not anytime soon. So this is a great new option for 8TRAX fans. The 8TRAX format just isn't offered anywhere else!

    I'm sure The Retro Room 8Trax reunion will be a blast.
    Meanwhile we are still hoping thay will fix up and reopen 8Trax at P.I.
    P.S. Fix up and reopen the other clubs as well, preferably this year.
