OK, this is not a club but I just had to report that Bikini Barista has opened on Lee Road very close to the old 11/12 Lounge. Featuring bikini and lingerie-clad baristas working the walk-up and drive-up windows, I'm told they sell coffee. Big thanks to colleagues Justin & Chris for the reconnaissance mission!

ReplyDeleteSomething tells me that this place will do well. It's totally not my thing but I can see the appeal! What ever happend to Hooters? The one in Gainesville closed about two years ago. Are there any left in Orlando?
ReplyDeleteThat was quite a shocker when the Hooters in GNV closed. Don't know the story behind it.
ReplyDeleteThere are at least 5 Hooters around Orlando and they seem to do well but locations in Altamonte Springs and Downtown-Church Street closed down with no new Hooters having opened.
There is a competing chain called Wing House that follows a similar format that has expanded all over Orlando.
Yeah, I was also surprised about the store here. It always seemed to be crowded and the food/atmposphere wasn't bad. I dono?!
