ReplyDeleteoh yeah!!! i been waiting for this post, this is like aa black friday sale to me, But either way EPCOT is my choice for NYE with DJ Mark Sanchez
ReplyDeleteOK. What's GMT?
ReplyDeleteBob, any info on Atlantic Dance this year? I can't find ticket info posted anywhere.
ReplyDeleteBrian, I haven't heard anything official about Venue 13, have you?
ReplyDeleteClubmaster, YES SIR, I AGREE!
Anon#1, GMT is Greenwich Mean Time, the name of the farthest west time zone in Europe and from which others around the world can easily calculate their local time.
Anon#2, I'll be posting detailed ticket instructions for ADH as soon as they post it. It hasn't sold out the last couple years due to their ever-increasing prices but with them dropping it this year, who knows. Stay tuned.
so king bob where will you be this year for NYE?
ReplyDeleteI an on facebook and I am a fan of Venue 13 Orlando I am invited to
ReplyDelete~ Venue 13's Grand Finale Blowout Bash ~
and this was posted on the page "Friday the 30th will be the last Venue 13 night at the 11/12 Lounge. The lounge has been sold and will become a restaurant.
Let's make it one big ass, anything goes, crazy sic party to remember. "
Clubmaster, if the weather isn't cold or raining then I expect to be at EPCOT again this year.
ReplyDeleteBrian, thanks for the update. I was talking to Paul Vaine about this possibility when I was out there recently and unfortunately Venue 13 wasn't drawing well anymore. He attributed that to the non-downtown location. He hopes to find a new home for his Visage reunions asap.
As much as it irritates me to no end that Disney can pull an awesome light and sound system out of its warehouses(I think I counted like 20 something R2s last year) I will be at EPCOT, primarily in Italy. China is really crowded due to its proximity to the exit of WS so I tend to stay away, but maybe I'll try to get over there early on. Weather looks like 72 and cloudy but no rain! bring on the party!
ReplyDeleteyour welcome Bob! and I have a friend who knows Paul Vaine real good! so if he hears anything I will let you know! ASAP!
ReplyDeleteI have updated the Atlantic Dance Hall entry. Reservations are now available by phone at Disney Dining. Prepayment required.
ReplyDeletePrices have been rolled back to 2009 levels with regular admission at $35 including tax. Last year the price had jumped to $40 + tax, no doubt impacting numbers.
Bob, is there a VIP for ADH this year?
ReplyDeleteYes, VIP is $75 including tax. It includes reserved seating/table, desserts until midnight and use of the upstairs balcony to view the fireworks over at EPCOT.
