While Chattanooga is NOT Disney World, I've been there and have been amazed at how much there is to do there. It's just much more low-key and without the crowds and without the high prices of Disney World. You CAN actually have a great family vacation there.
Frank, Chattanooga is definitely a place to visit. Rock City, Incline Railway, Lookout Mountain, Ruby Falls, Chattanooga Cho Cho, a huge model railroad display. Not a lot of kitsch but plenty to see. Thanks for pointing that out.
