PI Update: Splitsville Construction Underway

Behind those construction walls surrounding the old Virgin Megastore location, workers have already begun the extensive work necessary to turn a large retail store into an upscale bowling alley.

The front of the construction walls wet the appetite for what is to come. Not only are good times promised.....

But also sushi and filet sliders. Most promising is their "Dine Dance Drink" slogan, something mentioned more than once on the signs. There is reference to "live music" but we don't know yet if that means live bands or live DJ's. While not directly on Pleasure Island, Splitsville offers hope for adult entertainment at PI too. Oh, they also mentioned that there will be bowling too! Opening Fall, 2012.

    It seems vaugue at first, but yes it may have potential.
    Now come on guys lets fix the clubs up and let the people party, so everyone can enjoy them.

    I'm just happy in general because it's a bowling alley on property! The possible nightlife element to it is a bonus!

    I agree. A safe haven to spend an evening. Dine, Drink, and Dance with some bowling???? I would definitely make this a Saturday night ritual.

    I doubt this would become a Saturday night ritual for me unless the club/music/atmosphere is really really good. However, I could see it becoming one of my regular hang-outs every "several" Saturday nights.
