PI Update: Congaloosh 2011 On The Island

It's an Adventurers Club Reunion weekend and where else would one spend it other than beautiful Pleasure Island! Downtown Disney was packed last night and parking spaces were at a premium. (DUE TO DARKNESS, CLICK ON PHOTOS TO ENLARGE)
The Adventurers had group photos taken without interference.
In fact, Disney even provided someone who could divert pedestrian traffic around the gathering.
So with a loud Kongaloosh, the group went off into the night singing the Adventurers Life Is Best song. The party of about 20 people was far smaller than past Congaloosh events but I think this hardly represents a waning interest in getting AC reopened.

    There were over 50 people at the main even last night...and a whole lot of large bar tabs.

    Bob, chatter has picked up on that end of the year rumor I mentioned earlier. Given that Splitsville and AvatarLand remained a secret, I'm wondering if Disney is getting better at plugging leaks.

    Glad to hear Kungaloosh was an overall success. No telling the status of AC in yet another year! Hopefully there will be some announcements.
