Pleasure Island Reunion??

I had planned to run an article next Tuesday about the 3rd Anniversary of Pleasure Island's closing but it just never dawned on me that since the first two anniversaries were commemorated with Reunion events, something should be done this year as well. Until I got a text last night from one of my Mannequins friends. She was wondering if anything was planned?  I had to tell her that I'd check into it but that I had not heard of anything for this year.

So I scoured Facebook, MySpace, Google, Ask.com......and can find nothing. This Saturday night is the closest weekend date for a Pleasure Island Reunion, but are any of you aware of ANYTHING?

    This is not a private event- open to the public- just a quick way to contact all yous out there on my friends list.. This is a setting for awesome music and good times for all. The date is far enough out so mark you calendars- especially those we have not seen in while- you know who you are...

    That's good to know, but the question now is where is it going to be held?
    Hope they surprise everyone, and really reopen up Mannequines, and the other clubs.

    Looks like Vixen will be on my route this Saturday night! Hope to see many Mannequins fans there! And let's not forget DJ Dominick Morrison from Mannequins is likely spinning right next door at Vintage!

    We should all meet outside of Mannequins this Tueasday night for a "memorial". Leave flowers and things. Let's get a big crown and get press coverage! I'll be there from South FL if others say they will show up!
