| There was something oddly wrong with this view as I approached the Number 2 Bridge to Pleasure Island this afternoon. But it didn't take me long to figure it out; it was all that sky in the background beyond Sosa Cigars. The dominating hulk that was Rock'n'Roll Beach Club was gone! CLICK ON ALL PHOTOS TO ENLARGE. |

| The demolition is complete and thorough, as though seismic activity out in Village Lake produced a strong-magnitude tsunami leaving destruction in the wave's path! |

| Water taxi operators are now pointing it out rather than ignoring it, saying that Pleasure Island is being demolished and replaced with Hyperion Wharf which will offer more dining and shopping options. |

| Small sections of Motion remain however RRBC is completely gone other than the rubble. And while I had speculated that we would not see further demolition until next year, Pleasure Island sources are saying that Adventurers Club and Soundstage are coming down in May! In fact, the underground employee area under West End Plaza has its entrance into AC blocked. |

ReplyDeleteWe don't need anymore shops or restaraunts, we need nightlife for the adults.
So fix up Mannequins & 8Trax so people can party, and even do something about Adventurer's Club, and Sound Stage.
If it's not going to be P.I. then, let Hyperion Wharf Rock!
