One of our Blog readers has commented several times that the mannequins hanging inside Mannequins have all been removed. Or so he's been told by a PI manager! That is simply not true. As you can see in the photo above taken just a few days ago my me personally, there is one very visible mannequin hanging directly above the upstairs entrance. Excuse the photo quality but this was the best I could get considering the sunlight, angle involved and wire built into the window glass. Also, not visible during the day but visible at night when it's dark outside yet still dimly lit inside the club is another mannequin, perched above the northwest corner of the dance floor where a lot of clubbers used to hang out. There are mannequins still hanging throughout the club. Only those owned by Entertainment, the ones that used to hang upside down with glowing eyes, were removed and sold at Property Control. Mannequins continue to dwell in Mannequins!
The Phones are missing,,, I guess they have not paid the phone bill hahaha

There seems to be a tad bit of confusion regarding my comments earlier and the anonymous poster hoping to get the last word in is terribly confused. So allow me to set the record straight.
ReplyDeleteMy comments were related to the photo of the mannequin hanging on the wall inside of the former Mannequins night club. The comments were not a blanket rule for anyone who cares to post on this blog. The sole intention was to bring to light the throngs of pages arguing over the authentisity of photos with mannequins, not to enguage in a character debate and how low one is willing to stoop - though that would be a vaild argument at this point.
Believe what you choose, it's till a free county the last time I checked. However, this is a blog site, not a government agency or public announcement from WDW - no offense to KingBob as I do take his comments seriously!
My attempt at contributing to the conversation was intended to point out that not everyone is obligated to post what is wrong with Pleasure Island - some people are allowed (believe it or not) to point out what is right about it - past, present and future.
Further, I don't belive that I commented on anyone taking my side in any afore mentioned issue.

I have read what everyone has said on here and I think one hears this the other hears that. is this wrong or is that wrong? NO I think "you" hear what you have been told by a CM that works for Disney nobody knows what really is going on. only Disney knows (and I don't think even Disney knows) and we will find out one day...........
so can't we all just get along?
