Memorial Day weekend is almost upon us in the United States and that means it's a techno weekend in Orlando!Saturday night DJ Austin Leeds (USA) makes up for his previously cancelled concert at Bliss Ultra Lounge. Local DJ's Chad Andrew and Cheyenne M will open for him. Expect a lot of pure, non-vocal House music. Cover.
But it's Sunday night that has many competing for your techno dollars. Over at Icon local favorite DJ Baby Anne teams up with DJ X for a night of Breaks and Techno. Cover.
Also downtown, sister clubs Vixen and Vintage are holding "Memorial 4" with more than 10 DJ's playing back-to-back in both clubs. Featured are Left/Right, Curtis B, Dustin Hulton and others plus resident DJ's Jimmy Joslin and Flurk! House and Electrohouse. This event is FREE to all.
And of course it's Sunday night and that means Service Industry Night at House of Blues in Downtown Disney West Side. This is free to anyone with a hospitality industry or service industry ID or paystub. This event is always crowded and doubly so on holiday weekends. Traditionally a techno music night, it does depend on the DJ and this Sunday it's local DJ Magic Mike. The last time I saw him he started with a lot of Dance but 45 minutes into it he switched to a lot of Hip Hop so who knows anymore! HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!!

Oh what a weekend it will be!! Thanks for keeping us updated KingBob =) Baby Anne @ Icon will be the venue of choice for a BUNCH of us former Mannequins regulars. Love Magic Mike, but can't pass up a whole night of breaks, for what always ends up to be mostly hip hop. Hope to see you out there!
Hmmmm....who would I prefer to stare at for a few hours, Baby Anne or Magic Mike? What would I prefer to listen to for a few hours, Techno or Hip Hop?
