  1. I'll never forget the fun times in 8-trax, both working and partying. I'll never forget the days of working 8 hrs at the golf course, then flying over to 8-trax to work another 6ish hours as a door host. I had many many fun nights dancing and getting paid OT for it!

  5. Do the right thing Disney; bring it back! All this, "we have heard our customers and they want more retail" talk is BS. Bought my share of stock and going to voice my opinion!

  7. To it may concern,my name is EL VEJACO I'am the guy who made the suggestion about everyone should buy one Disney share/stock.Because that would give share holders the right to attend Disney's annual share holders meeting.Remember you can ask the top executives anything or suggest ideas. You have a voice in this matter.Use Disney's words IF you can dream it you can live it.That comes from Walt himself.never give up !

  12. Hey all you people commenting under "Anonymous". Not sure that you're aware that you can make comments and select the NAME/URL option and just input any name and leave URL blank. That way you can remain anonymous if you want to but at least you have a made-up name so I know who is who. Or use a real name if you want to. But feel free to use the Anonymous option if you prefer. Thanks!

Anon, so if I'm reading this right, if I bought one Disney share today, I could not attend this stockholder meeting? Too late??

  14. SoCalGal, I missed you at the PI Reunion last week. Were you there?

  15. SoCalGal-
Yeah, the FAQs read as though you would have had to been a shareholder as of 01/11/10 in order to qualify to attend the shareholder meeting.
I think they cut off the voting/proxy materials after that date.

You need a number from the proxy form to request tickets:

  16. So just to be clear my wife and I loved PI and it was the only reason we ever went to Disney at all.
I have heard all the bull about everyone wanting more Dinning and retail space bull, and that parents were complaining about the venue.
    All bull.
Do what we did and vote with your wallet.
we flew in attended the last night celebrations and although we spend about 100 days a year in FLA, we have never returned to Disney.
And I guess as mentioned here Disney never makes or should I say admits to their mistakes we never will

  17. Thanks for writing in, Jimmi D. I'm still hopeful that the new venues coming to Pleasure Island will give Disney visitors and locals some evening options out there!
