| The website WDW Magic is reporting that Erwin Pearl Jewelry will be closing soon. Located at Pleasure Island's "Hub", we rarely saw customers in there and long ago predicted that it would be the first of the new Disney Springs stores to fail. That honor was actually earned by neighbor Sound Lion and then by several other shops. The problem with all the shops along Hill Street is that they're hidden to passersby by trees and large planters. A double whammy for Erwin Pearl Jewelry was that the only doors faced the "side road" rather than the main pedestrian thoroughfare. No one ever noticed the place. |
