A Visit To Golden Oak

Golden Oak is the exclusive residential subdivision that is located on Walt Disney World property. Thursday afternoon I was able to visit for the first time.
It's a gated subdivision and it's not easy to get in.
Each housing area within Golden Oak is separately gated.
The main north-south road within the complex is named Dream Tree Blvd. Golden Oak's first home opened in 2011.
They're opening a new development called The Cottages of Symphony Grove with homes as small as 1800sf. You'll need at least $1M to buy there though.
This area of Disney property is legally located in the incorporated city of Bay Lake, Florida, just like its neighbor Magic Kingdom. But since Bay Lake does not have a post office, residents use Orlando, Florida 32836 for their mail.
The homes are rather nice.
Residents can enjoy Summerhouse, the community gathering place and "club house" which includes a pool, restaurant and bars.
Located near the rear of Golden Oak, the Four Seasons Resort has its own golf course plus restaurants and numerous luxury amenities. It was great to finally visit this exclusive enclave of Walt Disney World.
