Club Report: Limelight (Carnival Horizon)

Released to Carnival by the builder at the end of March, Carnival Horizon spent the summer doing sailings in Europe and out of New York City.  I could not pass up traveling on this special 2-night sailing to Nassau and back on a brand new ship!
And as Carnival's new flagship, she was sailing out of her new homeport of Miami.
Too many lounges to visit them all over just two nights, Piano Bar 88 was pretty impressive.
As was Havana Bar.
And the video wall in Sky Box Sports Bar.
There are many extra-charge restaurants on board but Guy's Burger Joint is free and offers up his amazing burgers and fries! You'd have to pay for them off the menu at Planet Hollywood Observatory in Disney Springs.
OK, 4PM arrived and it was time for the Sail Away Party!
DJ Xtreme (USA) leading the festivities!
Of course all the requisite line dances!
Wobble Baby Wobble!
Dr. Seuss characters on the ship!
Cupid Shuffle!
The ship's animation team did a routine.

A good time was had by all!

During the party we were passed by Carnival Vista. Horizon replaces Vista at Port Miami.

Carnival Vista was relocating to the Port of Galveston. This was a crew-only sailing since foreign ships cannot carry revenue passengers between two U.S. ports.
Limelight Lounge is the ship's main nightclub.
DJ Xtreme back on the decks!
Arriving fashionably late after midnight, this is what the dance floor looked like!
The music nearly 100% Hip Hop with a smattering of Latin.

It was clear we weren't going to hearing any Armin van Buuren or Chainsmokers, lol.

Nonetheless, it was cray cray in there and a good time was had by all!
