Club Report: Disco Inferno (Majesty of the Seas)

With Independence Day coming up, taking a 4-night cruise to Key West and Havana on Royal Caribbean's Majesty of the Seas. And the highlight of the first night was the 70's Disco Inferno taking place in Boleros Lounge!
Walked in a few minutes after the official starting time and the club was already packed!
With the event led by the ship's animation team!
The dance floor was full for 70's Disco!
No 70's Night would be complete without a visit from the Village People!
"In The Navy"
"We want you as a new recruit!"
And disco classic "YMCA"!
And just like at 8TRAX on Pleasure Island, it was all ages and all walks of life. Everyone knows the words to Disco, even those born way after that famous decade! Some club in Orlando should run a 70's Night once a month or so; I think it would so well.
"Get Down On It" was part of the medley of dozens of songs played during the event!
Others included "Hot Stuff", "Funkytown", "Night Fever", "The Hustle", "Boogie Wonderland" and namesake "Disco Inferno".
And the "Love Train"!
70's parties are a staple of cruises and this was one of the better ones I've experienced.
A good time was had by all!
