Club Reports: International Drive To Disney Springs

So many Orlando-area residents want absolutely nothing to do with the Attractions District such as Disney, Universal and International Drive. But if you're of that mindset, you're missing out on some of the city's best entertainment offerings! So last night the Blog worked its way down I-Drive!
Free parking is offered at iDrive 360, home of the Coca-Cola Orlando Eye.
There are always lines to get in at Tin Roof, the live music venue located among the numerous restaurants located within this complex.
"Radio Band" was playing Top 40 during my visit.
But the premier music venue in the area is the nearby Mango's Tropical Cafe.
Earlier in the evening the entertainment consists of 5-15 minute musical vignettes such as this "Thriller" routine presented by Michael Jackson and his ghouls!
Vocalists crooning to Salsa.
Dance routine.
You can never go wrong with Go Go girls!
Patrons stay seated at their dinner tables for these performances. Sometime after midnight they clear these tables and this becomes the dance floor. On Friday nights, DJ Leony (USA) takes over but I was not able to stick around because there was more to see down the Drive!
Pointe Orlando has morphed from a shopping center into a dining and entertainment complex. Former clubs Metropolis and Matrix are long gone from their Britney & Justin days and are no longer dance clubs.
Lafayette's Music Room is similar to Tin Roof.
Live bands are offered here.
Adobe Gila's is primarily a restaurant.
But outside on their patio a live band was performing too.
B.B. Kings Blues Club has been a Pointe Orlando anchor for years now.
During a band break, prerecorded music was being played.
The "Cupid Shuffle" always brings the girls to the floor!
"B.B. Kings All-Star Band" returning to the stage.
Across International Drive from Pointe Orlando is Club 3Nine located in the Rosen Plaza Hotel.
DJ Los (USA) was on stage playing Top 40.
But there was sadly no one here last night. That will not be the case on May 26th when the cosplay Megacon After-Party will be in here featuring DJ Elliot (USA) & DJ Evolv3 (USA) and the place will be wall-to-wall packed! The Blog will have full coverage.  Tickets.
From here it was just a one exit jump down I-4 to Pleasure Island. So let's cross this bridge one more time to check out "Disney Springs Late Night."
At Waterview Stage, DJ Scott King (USA) was winding down the adult dance party.
Far more crowded earlier, fun was still being had all the way up to 1AM. With Spring Break 2018 now over, the ending time for the Thursday/Friday/Saturday dance party has moved from 2AM to 1AM.
Of course we know DJ King from not only Pleasure Island but also from Universal CityWalk.
With that party coming to a close, it was time to drop in on The Edison.
DJ John Campisano (USA) in the perch leading the festivities!
This is where the crowd was! After the band ends at 1AM, it's an all DJ set until closing.
The music Top 40 & Hip Hop classics!
Who says there's no dancing on Pleasure Island!
A good time was had by all!
