EDC Update: Expansion Announced

Electric Daisy Carnival - Orlando published their Festival Map earlier this week and it contained a huge surprise. As predicted by the Blog last November, Rio Grande Avenue to the east of Camping World Stadium is being closed during the event and the festival grounds will extend across the road into what is usually a grassy parking area and the Circuit Grounds Stage will be located over there!
The Kinetic Field main stage will remain in Tinker Field adjacent the stadium but McCracken Field, where Circuit Grounds was previously located, is now freed-up to host the Boombox Art Car stage. The additional space will allow ticket sales to expand beyond last year's 43,000 capacity which did get reached on the Saturday night of the event last year.
Also new is the addition of a second entrance in the southwest corner of the festival grounds adjacent TOLL SR408. Thousands park on the other side of the toll road but always had to walk all the way around the grounds to where the entrance was located. That main entrance (through the stadium) remains but this shortcut entrance can save a huge amount of time!
We're still waiting on set times!
1-day & 2-day tickets are available here.
