PI Update: The Performance Arena

We now know that The Edison complex is going to consist of 4 different venues. There's that hidden speakeasy, some sort of Italian quick-serve restaurant, The Edison itself which we believe will be a restaurant too with bars and then finally that oval "performance arena" that the Blog has made reference to many times over the past 9 months.
We've always referred to it as a "performance arena" because that's what The Edison in Los Angeles has but this one appears much larger and in recent weeks the rumors are saying "night club"!
Last December when construction was much less further along than it is now, the north side was wide open to peek inside as we did with our Blog's exclusive SkyCam. Please click to enlarge photo because you can see the venue inside is 3-levels high with the second level containing a wrap-around metal deck that you could stand on and look at what's going on down below.
Another view worth a click to enlarge with a better view of that wrap-around deck. Keep in mind that when BET Soundstage Club stood on this spot, its dance floor too was on the lower level (along with a bar) while most of the seating and more bars were directly above it. That middle level in this picture is ground level at West End Plaza, directly across from STK. We'll keep you updated!

At this point I really am amazed that the final plans for this "arena" space have not been leaked.....or even announced. The complex should be opening shortly....so all secrets should be revealed soon I suppose!

Fewer leaks than at the State department!

It is not a perfomance arena. It will be a full service italian restaurant, a quick serivce italian restaurant, and a speakeasy bar. The edison makes it 4

I had thought for a long time that the Edison and "performance arena" would be a combined building, but based on these photos - which apparently I missed a while back - it looks more like it'll be two separate venues, ala AC/Soundstage.

I'm assuming they will be run as two separate entities? I know the Edison will have nightlife, "night club"-like activities, so it's curious to see how they'll fit together.
