Club Reports: Hakkasan & Omnia (Las Vegas)

With $98rt airfares on Frontier Airlines, why stay home?  Vegas baby!
First stop Hakkasan Nightclub in the MGM Grand.
Resident DJ Mondo (USA) in the booth opening for Tiesto (NL)!
It was still early but already crowded for EDM!
First encountered DJ Mondo when he opened for DJ Icey (USA) at Amphitheatre in Tampa and then he would play a few times at The Groove in CityWalk.
Some of the lighting effects at Hakkasan.
Unlike at The Groove, Mondo never once had to announce drink specials in the Red Room! The peeps want EDM!
Everyone dressed in their finest!
By the time I left, there were already lines waiting to get onto the dance floor!  All I can say is arrive early!
Now over to Omnia Nightclub at Cesar's Palace!
First up to The Terrace at Omnia where DJ Jeff Retro (USA) was spinning!
Located on the rooftop, you get amazing views of the Las Vegas strip up here!
Formerly from Orlando, we spotted Jeff Retro at Attic Nightclub earlier this year!
The music up here Top 40 hits.
OK, time now to get inside and tackle this!
Opening DJ Mark Eteson (GB) playing a great EDM set!
About 3X larger than Hakkasan, Omnia is famous for these light rings of various colors that drop down from the ceiling!
Somehow made it through the crowd to near the front!
Such an amazing experience!
Packed to the rafters!
VIP girls!
Nice scenery in every direction!
Omnia knows how to celebrate birthdays!
And promptly at 1AM, there he was! DJ Armin Van Buuren (NL).
"Who's ready for some State of Trance?"
Crowd going cray cray!
And when he asked everyone to crouch, most did!
First time seeing Armin since "The Best of Armin Only" this past May at the Amsterdam Arena. (Link)
Lots of CO2 explosions reminded me of Mannequins!
The smoke would dissipate though; it didn't just hang there like some clubs in Orlando.
Just amazing!
Lasers in the house!
Armin played some of his old classics too!
Those light rings would drop down in a variety of colors!
As did the club itself!
You can never go wrong with Go Go girls!
Spotted in VIP: Jeff LV
Spotted in VIP: Fort Myers was represented!  Damn!
4AM and no one was leaving!
Armin Van Buuren comes to Orlando in November at Electric Daisy Carnival!
Confetti explosion!
This time in white!
When I got back to my hotel room at 5AM Pacific Time and saw it was 8AM Eastern Time, I realized this was an all-nighter!
At all venues last night in Las Vegas, a good time was had by all! Big thanks to DJ Mondo for the hookup!

Since Armin is basically the biggest name on the EDC Orlando roster this year, they'll probably give him the closing slot on Sat night on the main stage next to the stadium.

His tour schedule does indeed show him playing EDC-Orlando on Saturday, November 11th.
