Lady Gaga At The Super Bowl

Using Lady Gaga as the pick for this year's Super Bowl Halftime Show was an odd choice because she hasn't been relevant in the pop music scene since around 2011.
But it did bring back good memories of her sold out show at UCF Arena back in January, 2010 (both pictures above) when she was at the height of her popularity.  Nearly everything she sang last night were old hits from back then including "Poker Face", "Telephone", "Just Dance" & "Bad Romance". Because if she sang any new songs, no one would have recognized them!  Nonetheless, she did look pretty good last night.  She had gotten kind of porky after her boom years.

Wow Bob..slamming Gaga. Lol.. Well, she is still somewhat relevant as she sang her one of her newer songs during Super Bowl, "Million Reasons." And she did release "Perfect Illusion" last year. I agree, I don't think we'll ever see her as relevant as 2010, but she still puts on a great show. Gotten Porky...Lol, you kill me. I think she still looks pretty good, especially when she was in American Horror Story. Thanks for the smiles this morning, I needed that.

Once again King Bob you are spot on. Lady Gaga has not delivered on the promise of her first record. As a fan, it saddens me to see her star fade away as Sia and Katy Perry much deservedly dominate the arena pop scene.

DJMMR, I heard her Super Bowl performance was pretty good. It was the only part of the game I didn't really watch.

Ed, thanks. She was originally named the "Next Madonna" but then never delivered on that comparison. Perhaps she was too political and turned a number of people off.
