EDC Main Stages Through The Years

Electric Daisy Carnival returns to Orlando tomorrow at Tinker Field beside Camping World Stadium.  This is the 6th edition of EDC-Orlando and I thought it would be fun to take a look at the main stages over the years.  Shown above at the first EDCO in 2011, the Kinetic Field main stage was was tame by today's standards.
In 2012, the Kinetic Field main stage was about the same size as the first year with some additional length added stage right and stage left.
As fortunes grew for Insomniac, creator of the various EDC concert events, they really began to invest profits back in the product. The 2013 Kinetic Field main stage was the first with a really WOW factor!
But 2014 really blew things away!  The Electric Cathedral from EDC-Las Vegas was brought to Orlando and it was truly amazing!  So massive in width, the Kinetic Field main stage that year was placed in McCracken Field which is where the Circuit Grounds stage typically stands. It featured waterfalls, graphics, fireworks and more!
Last year for 2015 the Kinetic Field main stage was back home in Tinker Field.
Shown here at night, it too was massive and loaded with special effects!
So that brings us to 2016.  Driving by last night, this is the view of the main stage as seen from Tampa Avenue.

No telling what features this year's stage will have! Come out Friday or Saturday and see for yourself!
