Concert Report: DJ Steve Aoki (House Of Blues)

First time back at House of Blues last night since the final Sunday night Service Industry Night last October!
Arrived around 9PM thinking Steve Aoki would be coming on at 11PM but that was not the case. A long roster of other DJ's would perform before that would happen, including DJ Chino who we know from The Groove.
Even at this early hour, the club's pit was pretty much full!
Next up for his 30-minutes was DJ/Producer Gnash.
And the few empty spots on the dance floor were filling-in!
DJ duo Erock did the next half hour.
All of the sets so far were pretty interchangeable; EDM, Trap, Hip Hop, Repeat.
By now it would seem to be time for Aoki but it wasn't. Chicago DJ duo Jump Smokers were next.
Really young crowd, as you might expect.
Around 11:30-ish, Dance singer Bebe Rexha (USA) showing T&A!
Because apparently her flight was late arriving, her set consisted of only 3 of her songs; "Me, Myself & I" with G-Eazy, "No Broken Hearts" with Nicki Manaj and "Take Me Home" by DJ duo Cash Cash.
Confetti bomb!
Then finally right after midnight, DJ Steve Aoki (USA).
He was quite animated all night!
Selecting some cute chicks to join him in the booth!
Packed to the rafters!
Spotted: My "Man's Week" friend Art!  He was the only person in the entire club that I knew last night besides my former Service Industry Night bartender Angela.
Coming down to mingle with his peeps, something Aoki is famous for!
There were rumors of lots of cake backstage, something else he is famous for!
But with the show operating over an hour later than what I expected and with me having to be at work before dawn this morning, I threw in the towel at 1:15AM!
But there is little doubt that a good time was had by all!
