Club Reports: Sandwich Bar, Bikkuri Lounge

Sandwich Bar in Orlando's Milk District has been bringing in some talented DJ's!
Last night I arrived to find the amazing DJ Sandra Collins (USA) in the booth of the tiny club!
Place wasn't packed but there was a decent-sized crowd on hand.
Sandra Collins was my "first DJ".  Prior to Sandra I would go to clubs to listen to the music and dance but not go specifically for the DJ playing.  When she opened for Paul Oakenfold (GB) at Destiny Night Club, I was hooked!  And I think everyone that night agreed that her set was better than his.
Dance floor stayed active last night too as her music blurred the lines between House, Progressive House & Techno.
Spotted by the speakers: Michael & Cheryl
Spotted by the door: Christa
Spotted by the booth: World famous Shawn Fenn
Spotted on the dance floor: Stacey
Great music selections had the club bouncing!
Sandra Collins is based in Los Angeles.
It's a special treat to get Sandra in Orlando because most of her shows are out west or in Mexico.
Sandra sporting some übercool platform sneaks!
Autograph hound!
Moving from Orlando's Milk District to Orlando's Noodle District, Bikkuri Sushi is a restaurant in front with the secret dance club Bikkuri Lounge in the back!
Arrived early enough to catch the end of DJ Robb Blak's set.  Robb opens for Simon Patterson (GB) this coming Thursday night at Venue 578.
Dance floor was filling up!
Suzy Solar (USA) was up next and would deliver a loud, uplifting Trance set!
Bikkuri is home to that amazing light wall!
Cheers went up as DJ duo Kyau & Albert (D) arrived.
And Suzy would turn over the controls to them within minutes of their arrival!
And I don't know where everyone suddenly came from, but the place got packed!
"Lost In Trancelation" is a monthly event at Bikkuri with more German DJ's coming. Watch for Roger Shah in June and Alex M.O.R.P.H. in September!
First 40-minutes of the set were all songs with vocals and that had everyone happy!
Spotted on the dance floor: DJ J-13 with Bonnie
Spotted on the dance floor: Blog-favorite Atlantic Dance Hall bartender Fernando
Spotted on the dance floor: Sage Sappho (photo altered to emphasize her purple hair)
That euphoria you experience listening to Trance!
When they first walked in, I told them in my best German, "Sehr klein, sehr gut" in reference to Bikkuri.
Trance dance!
This was Kyau & Albert's first performance ever in Orlando after producing and performing together for more than 20 years!
They play at the many times larger Avalon Nightclub in Hollywood, California tonight!
A good time was had by all!
