That Damn Revolving Dance Floor

Mannequins was a club that had state-of-the-art lighting and sound systems and in many ways was way ahead of its time.  But what really made it famous was its revolving dance floor!
I've gone through all my photo archives though and have really few photos of  that floor.  So these will have to do!
The floor revolved at a pretty good clip.  I recall my first few times going that I'd have to hang around more towards the center of the dance floor where it revolved more slowly in order to keep from getting dizzy!
Standing along the side of the floor was a popular diversion as you watched your friends go by.
It was also a good way to keep an out out for future friends you wanted to meet!  And every once in awhile the floor would come to a halt, beginning anew in the opposite direction.  Everyone would turn around, lol.
Jenny from London!  It was always fun watching newcomers walk up to the floor and realize for the very first time that it was moving!  And then watching them time their leap to get on without falling.  I sure miss that damn revolving dance floor!
