PI Update: WC Complex Razed

Come cross this bridge one more time to beautiful Pleasure Island!
Last week we provided exclusive coverage of the roof being removed off BET Soundstage Club.  This is what it looks like now!

Soundstage was the only Pleasure Island club that still had its sign displayed but that has now been removed.  The north side of the building facing Village Lake is wrapped.
The bathroom complex that stood beside Soundstage Club has been demolished.
The platform it was built on is still there but we don't know if it will remain as part of The LandingThe Tunnels Orlando complex is down there and the platform blocks viewing of it.
On the south end of West End Plaza where Comedy Warehouse used to stand, construction of STK upscale steak house has become visible.
Work has begun inside Adventurers Club as it is turned into The Edison Orlando.
No visible changes yet to the exterior, except for what you can see between these fence posts.
Directly across from the new outdoor amphitheater, Florence-based Vivoli Il Gelato is supposed to open this coming Wednesday.  I'm surprised they didn't build two doors; one for those coming in and one for those going out.  I expect lines here much of the year.
The menu already has my mouth watering!  (Of course I haven't seen their prices yet.)
We're told Joffrey's Tea Traders is going next door but there are no signs yet.
Mannequins Dance Palace looking very different.  Remnants of the old marquee remain but the front foyer is gone!
And this glassed-in multi-level dining area now faces the former PI parking lot.
Of all the new shops that have opened on the Island so far, Chapel Hats seems to be the most popular and a surprise hit!
Most of the action at Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar is now taking place inside.
Although outside they have been "weathering" the building. Tomorrow on the Blog we'll update you on the springs of Disney Springs.
