Club Reports: Independent Bar, Room 131, Native Social Bar

You know how I love I-Bar on Saturday nights for their 80's New Wave format, so that's where I began my adventurers last night!
Because of my recent travels plus some other great DJ concerts here in town, it had been 11 weeks since my last Saturday night visit here!  Can't let that happen again!
Next stop Annie's for their new Saturday night "Room 131" event!
Arrived to find DJ's Davie-D and Vitamin E tag-teaming Breaks.
The problem here is that it's a half block north of Independent Bar and no one ventures north of Washington Street except Country fans going to Saddle Up.
Great music though and spacious.  This needs to catch-on!
Finally one dancer on the floor!
Native Social Bar has made the switch from Hip Hop to various genres of Electronic Dance Music and it's showing up in the crowds!
Opening sets from DJ duo Circle K & Collaborator (USA).
The music: Drum & Bass!
The dance floor: Packed!
It would stay this way all night!
Dancing by the bar!
Spotted dancing: DJ Funkbaby
Spotted at the bar: Jen & Ira Mazor.  It ain't a party without the Mazors!
Spotted by the stairs: LadyV, Aubrey & Kat
Spotted in soft focus: DJ's Jimmy Joslin & Gumbee (USA)
Spotted: DJ Beni Hill, DJ K8 and friend.
Getting ready to come on, DJ Friction (GB)!
The Brighton-based DJ would not start with anything slow!
Immediately launching into extremely fast Breakbeat selections that define the D&B genre.
"The Drum and Bass Show with Friction" plays on BBC Radio 1 in the UK and on Sirius/XM in North America.  Friction plays tonight at Electric Daisy Carnival - Las Vegas.
I think this was my first D&B show since I saw Aphrodite at Thee Grotto a couple years ago but TorqueDNB has been a regular Wednesday night feature here at Native.
The music whipping the crowd into a frenzy!
A good time was had by all!
