PI Update: Dining At The Boathouse

The Blog published exclusive photos of the inside The Boathouse last month, a day prior to the press opening.  Since then we've been inside a couple times but never to actually dine.  That got corrected last night.
A beautiful evening to check it out, the restaurant was mostly full but you could get a table just walking up.
The inside main bar is always first come, first served and there were ample spots when I first arrived but these would mostly fill up too.
A couple amphicars would come and go during my visit but at $125 a ride, most everyone was just watching.
Lots of outdoor dining options available.
I had the filet mignon which was delicious.  But I got to say, I'm just as happy at Logan's Roadhouse or Texas Roadhouse at one-fifth the price.
One of more than a dozen antique boats on display on the docks.
The Blog has provided photos of the Dockside Bar previously but this was also a first visit inside. From a distance it looks small but up close, it's huge!
Acoustical entertainment is provided.
And not too far away, a good time was had by all!
