DTD Update: Margarita Bar Opens Next Week

Construction walls still surround the new Margarita Bar complex in Downtown Disney Marketplace.
But while the wall sign says Margarita Bar, the sign on the building refers to the new venue as Dockside Margaritas.  And that will apparently be its new name.  And as you can see, there will be two walk-up windows for ordering!
No opening date announced yet but it should be soon given that it looks completed, lacking only outdoor seating and tables.  UPDATE: Opening April 23rd per Blog reader.
In the hustle and bustle that is Downtown Disney Marketplace, this will be a more-quiet waterfront oasis for sipping on a cold drink while enjoying light evening musical performances.
Opposite side view of the large patio constructed over the waters of Village Lake.

Wait, I have an idea! They need to provide us with a place to DANCE with those margaritas! Maybe they could close Morimoto's of Asia and build a very cool warehouse dance venue - THAT WOULD BE AWESOME!

Anon, how timely! Thank you for sharing that information. That would be 1 week from today. I checked the Parks Blog and maybe it's been revised. Now it no longer gives a date, it just said it's opening later this month.

A friend sent me pictures of the new patio area--it looks gorgeous. With live music, I see this being an unexpected hit.

71, I think it will be a hit too. They open Thursday with music running from 2:30pm to 10:15pm featuring Gerardo Manrique and Bryan Malpass.
