PI Update: In The Past Year

The Blog has been providing you regular updates for more than 6 years, but you may be surprised to see all that has occurred on Pleasure Island in just the past 1 year.
Starting at West End Plaza, Comedy Warehouse had been razed more than a year ago but this is what it looked like last February prior to anything new being construction on the plaza itself, or surrounding it.
The Hill Street facing part of 8TRAX had been demolished.  The adjoining building that housed Curl by Sammy Duval was also taken down.  Work had just begun on replacement retail structures.
At the corner by The Hub, PI Live Bar and this section was cleared to also make way for that angular building that will house 4 retail operations.
The only sign of The Boathouse coming was the construction barge that had been brought-in offshore on Village Lake.
One year ago there were no signs of the coming outdoor entertainment amphitheater called the Waterview Stage, or of The Hangar bar.
No new retail yet in the service court behind Raglan Road, the so-called Motion Corridor.
And one year ago this month construction was just beginning on the Marketplace causeway too. A lot has happened in the past year!
