Remembering My Mannequins Friends

Last night was the 6th anniversary of the Final Night at Mannequins so I went through all the pictures I took that night to pull out those of some of my favorite Mannequins friends. A few of them I've never seen again since that night but for the most part I've run into if not hung out with most of the people pictured! Long live Mannequins Dance Palace!

At Mannequins, a good time was ALWAYS had by all!

What a damn shame what they have done. To take away peoples' happiness. It disgusts me. There should be accountability to the public. Executives are given a treasury to look after in a company like Disney. What they do affects peoples' lives. In a sense, the Disney experience belongs to everybody. Not just the whims of upper management. Didn't they learn anything from the French Revolution?

6 years, and meanwhile Disney missed the EDM revolution that has taken place across the USA. They could have had weekly books, Testio, Kaskade, Zedd, every week headliner DJ booked, DTD / Pleasure Island PACKED, 1000$ bottles. But, instead they did nothing and let it all go to waste. Vegas, is meanwhile cleaning up like no tomorrow.

Disney is accountable to the public, those that own stock. Closing PI has not even been a blip on their radar.

Maybe not yet but if they flub Disney Springs and more and more dollars are lost to CityWalk that may not continue to be the case.
