Blog Mission Statement and Disclaimer

We try to post this message once or twice every year for your safety and protection:

The original goal of the Save Pleasure Island Blog was to rally support to reverse the decision to close Pleasure Island. There were Save Pleasure Island and Save The Adventurers Club petitions and letter/e-mail campaigns. Unfortunately, all that fell on deaf Mouse ears.

The current mission is to keep you informed about what is happening with the clubs on our beloved Island. Factual information is provided when available but most of what is printed on here is rumor-based. Please understand that rumors by their very nature are very unreliable. Even if a rumor was true at one time, it's possible that things change and it never becomes true. Thus, readers should consider the information on this Blog to be fiction and opinion and not rely on any of it in any way. Do you have any inside information? Please email me at: king bob of the north at gmail dot com.  Thanks so much to those of you that have been doing that all these years.

With PI closing so many people kept asking me where I would be hanging out. Thus, this Blog also evolved into reporting on nightclub alternatives and DJ concerts playing EDM. Only the Save Pleasure Island Blog covers the clubs, the clubbers and the DJ's.

In conjunction with Federal Trade Commission Rule 16 CFR Part 255, all opinions are my own and I accept no consideration for any endorsements made. Thanks for tuning in!

KingBob, what will become of this site if, God forbid, no clubs open at Disney Springs? There will be no hope for saving Pleasure Island anymore. I read this site every day and like the review of other clubs and CW. On a side note, thanks for the work you put into this site on a daily basis.

Anon at 1:13pm, there is still much to report on at Disney Springs. While there are not going to be any clubs per se, I'm confident that there will be nightlife.

I think there will be clubs eventually. Maybe not at first but people want them and Disney knows that. In order to make the evenings and nights really popular and keep the crowds there late it's going to take more than a bowling alley and an outdoor band. I've never been a House of Blues fan so skip it but there needs to be some other club options possibly in the same area to keep the crowds from leaving property. There's no reason why Disney couldn't recreate some updated clubs at The West Side. Disney never lets there plans be known ahead of time on things like this. We'll only know when it happens or it doesn't and then later if they decide the guests are requesting clubs to kept get crowds happy.
