PI Update: Other Construction Projects

Besides the new causeway bypass around Pleasure Island and the new building being built in the former Motion space, there are a couple other construction projects taking place at Downtown Disney. These cranes dominate the DTD skyline and can't be overlooked!
The cranes are part of the construction of the new Disney Springs parking garage complex going up in the former parking Lots H-I-J-K.
It obviously has a long way to go.  Once opened, construction of a second parking garage will take place further to the east and closer to what is now DTD Marketplace.
The other construction project in DTD is a new one.  It involves the closing of the House of Blues ticket booth building in order for the area to be turned into a new BBQ smokehouse featuring take-out food!
Construction walls already surround the facility.  You may recall the 2009 rumor we published that Schussler Creative's Backfire BBQ concept would be a part of Pleasure Island's club replacements.  Of course it never happened so HOB will be the one providing the BBQ and fixens! This will be hugely popular!
And a new 4-window box office has opened to replace it in the outside corner of the House of Blues Company Store building.
