PI Update: Adventurers Club Reunion

Fans of Pleasure Island's Adventurers Club held their annual reunion this past weekend which included an outing and photo taken on the steps of the beloved club.  Perhaps because this was the 5th anniversary of the club closing, they had a huge gathering this year as you can see.  We all hold out hope that the club will rise again in some form.  Fans are quick to point out that the AC building survives PI's conversion to The Landing. The concept art still depicts the building being used for something.

The legacy of Adventurers Club lives on.  Some of the club's artifacts can be seen on the Backlot Tour at Disney Hollywood StudiosHong Kong Disneyland's new Mystic Manor dark ride shares the story of an eccentric adventurer Lord Henry Mystic. At Tokyo DisneySea, their Fortress Explorations is dedicated to the world of adventuring.  And let's not forget that the "sea" in the theme park's name even stands for the "Society of Explorers and Adventurers."  Big thanks to reader Master Gracey for sharing the photo above with Save Pleasure Island BlogNever forget and never give up!

Of course the plans also showed the Curl building, which has been razed. They also show the 8Trax building (at least the rear), but there's no word about whether the rest of the building stays or goes.
