Club Reports: The Groove & Latin Quarter

Not very many people out last night at Universal's CityWalk complex as this winter's latest cold front swept through the area mid-day and temps dropped and dropped. And holiday tourists are gone again. The Groove only had about 20 people in the place all night for 80's Night including those two couples pictured in the upper photo above. Seems like their 80's Night has been sputtering since DJ Doc Wells, a real connection to Pleasure Island, no longer works there!

Elsewhere last night, Red Coconut-dead, Bob Marley's-dead, Pat O'Brien's-dead. Only the Latin Quarter with DJ Leony (Sirius XM BPM, RadioDanz) had a relatively large crowd for his mix of Latin tunes and some House!
