This Weekend in Techno Town

It's a beautiful warm weekend in Orlando. Here are some of the things going on in O-town:

The new Vinylmation/D-Street store is supposed to open today in Downtown Disney West Side. Located where Planet Hollywood On Location used to be, the store features guys trendy clothing as well as those cute (or obnoxious) little vinyl Mickeys.

The Beach Boys are tonight's band for Mardi Gras at Universal Studios. Expect huge crowds followed by many revelers heading over to the CityWalk nightclubs. This may be more of an "older" crowd considering who the Beach Boys fan base is.

DJ Rich Rich spinning at House of Blues on Sunday night means mostly techno and dance music. Next Sunday DJ Magic Mike returns to HOB. Anyone in any service industry gets in free.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, May 1st when former Mannequins DJ Dave Cannalte teams up with former Firestone DJ's Robbie Clark & D-Xtreme for a huge night of House music at the Peacock Room. Haven't seen Cannalte since the Aaahz Reunion last November when he teamed-up with DJ Kimball Collins at Tabu for what turned out to be an incredible event. Sources say that Collins had gone back to Bangkok but that he's returned again to Orlando. Still nothing official about another Aaahz Reunion this next November.
